1. Introduction
Welcome to RihlaGate ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing our website at rihlagate.com or registering for any trip offered through our platform, you ("you," "the participant," "the client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking or registration.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform or services.
2. About RihlaGate
RihlaGate is a travel concierge platform that lists and facilitates registration for trips within the Sultanate of Oman and select European destinations. Our role is limited to:
- Hosting trip listings on our website.
- Processing payments on behalf of trip operators via direct bank transfer (and, in the future, additional payment gateways).
- Sending confirmation emails and trip registration details to participants.
Please note: RihlaGate does not provide, arrange, or support international or domestic flight bookings. Participants are solely responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from any trip's designated meeting point.
RihlaGate does not own, operate, or manage the trips, activities, transportation, or accommodations featured on the platform. These are organized and delivered by third-party trip operators and providers.
3. Who Can Use RihlaGate
RihlaGate's services are available to:
- Individual participants — Any person aged 18 or older may register for a trip. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, and the guardian must complete the registration on their behalf.
- Businesses and organizations — Companies or entities seeking to book trips for their teams or clients may do so by contacting us directly.
- Travel agents and professionals — Licensed travel agents or professionals booking on behalf of clients are welcome to use the platform.
By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you are authorized to make the booking (including on behalf of any group members).
4. Registration & Booking Process
RihlaGate operates a guest-based registration model. There are no individual user accounts on the platform. The booking process is as follows:
- Browse available trips on the platform.
- Fill out the trip registration form with your details.
- Complete payment via the designated payment method.
- Receive a confirmation email with your trip details and registration record.
Your registration is only confirmed upon successful receipt of full payment and a confirmation email from RihlaGate.
5. Payments
5.1 Payment Methods
Currently, payments are processed via direct bank transfer. Additional payment gateway options may be introduced in the future, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
5.2 Payment Responsibility
By submitting a registration form and completing payment, you agree to pay the full trip fee as stated at the time of booking. All prices are listed in Omani Rials (OMR) unless otherwise stated.
5.3 Payment Confirmation
Your spot on a trip is not guaranteed until full payment has been received and confirmed. RihlaGate reserves the right to release unconfirmed spots without notice.
5.4 RihlaGate's Role in Payments
RihlaGate acts as an intermediary payment facilitator. Collecting payment does not make RihlaGate the organizer or operator of the trip. Financial responsibility for the delivery of the trip lies with the respective trip operator.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
The following policy applies to all trips booked through RihlaGate. By registering, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
6.1 Cancellation by the Participant

To initiate a cancellation, you must contact us in writing at support@rihlagate.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request.
6.2 Cancellation by RihlaGate or the Trip Operator
If a trip is cancelled by RihlaGate or the trip operator due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to insufficient registrations, weather, or force majeure events), registered participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid to RihlaGate.
RihlaGate shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants (e.g., transportation to meeting points, personal equipment purchased, or any other indirect expenses).
6.3 No-Show Policy
Participants who fail to show up on the trip start date without prior written cancellation are not entitled to any refund.
6.4 Transfers
In some cases, you may transfer your spot to another eligible participant. This must be requested in writing to support@rihlagate.com at least 7 days before the trip start date and is subject to approval.
7. Limitation of Liability
RihlaGate's responsibility is strictly limited to:
- The accurate listing of trip information as provided by the trip operator.
- The processing and facilitation of payments.
- Delivery of registration confirmation emails.
RihlaGate is not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or execution of any trip, activity, transport, or accommodation.
- Any injury, illness, loss, damage, or claim arising during a trip.
- Inaccuracies in trip descriptions provided by operators.
- Any failure by a third-party operator to deliver the trip as described.
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or civil unrest.
Participants engage in all trips and activities at their own risk. RihlaGate strongly recommends that all participants arrange appropriate personal travel and health insurance prior to their trip.
8. Participant Responsibilities
By registering for a trip, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete registration information.
- Ensure you meet any health, fitness, or eligibility requirements stated for the trip.
- Comply with all instructions from trip operators, guides, and coordinators during the trip.
- Behave respectfully toward other participants, local communities, and the natural environment.
- Ensure you hold any necessary permits, identification, or documentation required for the trip.
RihlaGate and the trip operator reserve the right to remove any participant from a trip without refund if their behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to others.
9. Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical fitness and health before registering for a trip. The following general health guidance applies to all RihlaGate trips:
- Consult your doctor before participating if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, chronic illness, or are pregnant.
- Carry any personal medication you require. Trip operators and RihlaGate staff are not responsible for providing medication.
- Stay hydrated throughout all activities, especially for outdoor and nature-based trips in Oman's climate.
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear as specified in the trip listing. Inadequate preparation may result in removal from the activity for safety reasons.
- Inform your trip coordinator of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions that may affect your participation before the trip begins.
- Travel insurance covering medical emergencies and evacuation is strongly recommended for all participants, particularly for European trips.
RihlaGate and trip operators do not provide medical advice or emergency medical services. In the event of a medical emergency during a trip, participants should contact local emergency services immediately.
By registering, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the activities described in the trip listing.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the RihlaGate platform — including text, images, logos, trip descriptions, and design elements — is the property of RihlaGate or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the platform without prior written permission from RihlaGate.
11. Privacy
RihlaGate collects and processes personal data (name, email, phone number, payment details) solely for the purpose of managing your trip registration and communicating with you about your booking. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to process your registration with the relevant trip operator.

12. Modifications to These Terms
RihlaGate reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the platform. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of RihlaGate's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman.
